Visited here while I was staying in the area. Ordered the Wren and it has to be one of the best espresso drinks I have ever had. Texturally perfect, and the flavors were well-balanced. Roasted, nutty, chocolatey flavor with pops of smoked salt and just a hint of sweetness. Although I live several hours away, I'd happily book a day trip back into the city, just to get to drink this again. That's how good it was.

I’m from Melbourne. I found this little cafe & roasters by chance when I was in NYC for a conference. Coffee is good, they have fresh dairy alternative (almond macadamia milk - fresh nut milk - not tetra pack). Also had gluten & dairy free cookie options. Nice vibe, some cute merch.

Wonderful staff - friendly and helpful. Good coffee and sandwiches. Very comfortable place to get coffee, food, and hang out. Enjoy.

Matcha latte was fantastic: rich, bold, perfect balance, and flawless. If you love matcha, this place is a must. They have seating both indoors and outdoors; space is cosy. Service was great and both baristas were very kind. Will be back !

Such an unexpected gem. The coffee flight was so fun, and their merch (stickers!) are great. The seasonal drinks also looked really good, but also very sweet. The only qualm that I had is that there wasn't much seating, but I grabbed a seat at the little bar and was surprisingly comfortable with my computer. WiFi was also strong!

I didn’t try the pour over but they do have them! I used chat gpt to find a pour over spot and went to a different coffee shop that didn’t end up having it. This location does tho! The area has some construction but the interior is nice. The drip is allegedly as good as a pour over with a nice machine (Bonavita? Can’t remember) making the coffee. I didn’t think it tasted as flavorful or well rounded as a pour over but I would enjoy another cup of drip, to go, if in a rush. Thanks Scout for the great service!

I have discovered Bird & Branch in 2022 and I have been coming here regularly when in NYC. I love their signature Nightingale latte and they always surprise me with their curated selection of delicious pastries, which varies from time to time. I also just enjoy the atmosphere of the place, both internally and on the outside. It’s not huge so it may get crowded during peak hours, but it’s worth a visit.

Today is my second day in New York. The waiter is super patient and recommended me the nightingale. It was so good and most special coffee I have ever tasted. I recommend everybody coming here to try those amazing coffees. Pasties too, don’t remember the name, but it’s salty with seasonings. What a great breakfast for me. 😁

Such a cute, homey place. Dropped in on a snowy winter day and was welcomed with a smile and a napkin to wipe my glasses fog (so sweet!) I got the huellas del jaguar gresha drip and it was amazing! Very fruit forward, warm and light — good for a beginner coffee drinker like myself. As a matcha fiend myself, the fact they also serve and sell Ippodo matcha means they KNOW quality. On a snowy Sunday, there was a decent amount of seating available as people came and went. I sat at the low top 6-seater with a few other folks and they were nice and made space. There is not a bathroom though! Highly recommend!

It is a nice place for some great coffee and pastry. We spent good time and my espresso was well done. Had a cortado too and it was pretty solid. Service was good and the atmosphere is cozy.
